About the project
Qurb is a local community app that connects you with people near you in your neighborhood and city. You browse a feed sorted by "near you / neighborhood / city", and post and interact under a pseudonym. Private messages ("whispers") start from a specific post, and you can accept or decline them before any conversation begins.
What it does
- Nearby feed sorted by: near you / neighborhood / city
- Post and interact using only a pseudonym
- Pseudonymous profile: display name, avatar, bio, and interests
- Private messages ("whispers") with accept/decline before chatting
- Sign-up doesn't ask for your real name, email or phone number
