An app for logging belongings with their invoices and warranties
About the project
An iPhone app that gathers what you own into a single record: name, photos, category, brand, serial number, price, purchase date and location at home or in the office. Purchase invoices and warranty cards attach to each item, and the app counts down the remaining warranty and alerts you a month, a week and a day before it ends. I built it to run entirely on the device, on a local database behind a Face ID lock, with no account, no server and no connection.
What it does
- A full record per item with its photos, invoices and warranty card
- Warranty alerts a month, a week and a day before it ends
- Maintenance log with costs and dates, plus PDF reports and CSV sheets
- A QR code per item that opens its record when scanned
- Face ID lock and fully on-device operation on a local database
